Cleaning up footage was the part of my job I hated most. Instead of putting up with it, I decided to make it disappear.
Why Rushly exists.
And who we build it for.
For years, I spent most of my weeks in Premiere Pro. Not editing: cleaning up footage. Scrubbing through hours of footage to pull out the four useful minutes. Cutting silences one by one. Redoing captions because Premiere's were unusable in French. The work I loved (pacing, story, sound design) always came last, when there was energy left.
I tried pretty much every tool on the market. They were English-only, or web-based (so you had to leave Premiere for every round trip), or disappointing in French. No one was really speaking to the French-speaking freelance editor. The one juggling several clients, billing by the hour, for whom every hour of cleanup is an hour lost.
So I built Rushly. Not yet another web app, not a tool hacked on top of Premiere. A native plugin, built for French first, that never sends your footage off your computer. You run an analysis, you pick up a ready-made sequence, and you never left your timeline.
The goal isn't for Rushly to be “cool”. It's for you to win back around ~7 hours a week. To deliver more projects without working later at night. To be an editor again, not a timeline operator.
4 convictions.
No compromise.
Made in France, built for French.
Word-accurate transcription on one of the best engines on the market (ElevenLabs Scribe v2). Foreign tools are weaker in French. We did the opposite: we start from French.
Native to Premiere, not another web app.
You never leave Premiere Pro. No export, no round trip, no file to reimport. An official plugin, integrated like a native Adobe Premiere Pro extension.
Your footage stays yours.
No footage is kept after processing. Nothing is reused to train third-party models. If your client is sensitive (legal, medical, confidential project), you can use Rushly with peace of mind.
Time is your business.
We measure everything in hours saved per week. We optimize for that, not vanity KPIs. If Rushly doesn't save you around 7 hours a week, it has failed.
