Rushly updates.

What changes for you in each version of the plugin, newest to oldest. Current version: 2.0.5, released on October 22, 2026.

Already have Rushly? Nothing to do: it updates itself (on Windows, when you close Premiere). Not installed yet? The installation page walks you through it.

  1. v2.0.5Current version

    Captions: faster, simpler text editing

Fixing caption text is much faster, keywords are set with the mouse, and the panel holds up when narrow.

    • Captions: edit the text with the keyboard, much simpler and faster (Enter splits, Backspace merges).
    • Captions: "Keyword" on a mouse selection, with explicit merge buttons.
    • Captions: caption position in one click (top, center or bottom) with a slider, and custom color.
    • Display fixed when the panel is narrow or wide.
    • Zooms: your zooms placed at the right moment, in 1 click.
  2. v2.0.4

Windows: automatic updates fixed · new subscription offer for the Free plan

On Windows, Rushly updates itself again; the Free plan gets a subscription offer after the first try.

    • Windows: Rushly's automatic update is fixed, it installs when you close Premiere.
    • Free plan: after your first try, a card offers you Rushly Plus, with prices in your currency (€ or $).
  3. v2.0.3

Zooms: credits refunded if placing fails · more reliable uploads · prices in your currency

If a Zooms placement fails, your credits are refunded; audio uploads resume on their own when the connection drops; prices follow your currency.

    • Zooms: if placing fails, the credits charged are refunded.
    • More reliable uploads: when the connection drops while sending the audio, Rushly resumes the upload on its own.
    • Prices shown in the plugin follow your account currency (€ or $).
    • Your credit balance now shows your packs too.
  4. v2.0.2

Captions: the last words always show up

A word spoken at the end of a caption no longer disappears from the screen.

    • Captions: the last spoken word of a caption is no longer cut off, it always shows on screen.
  5. v2.0.1

Rushly 2.0: Audio, Zooms, and no more selecting

Two new tabs, new caption presets, Rushly takes your whole sequence on its own, and Rushly now comes in 4 languages.

    • Audio: AI voice cleanup and a one-click voice mix, across the whole sequence.
    • Zooms: dynamic zooms timed to your voice. Edit them one by one, remove them in one click.
    • Captions: Poster and Keyword presets, every caption stays on screen for at least one second, faster placement.
    • Captions: pick any font installed on your computer in "My style".
    • No more selecting: with nothing selected, Rushly takes the whole sequence. Select clips to process only part of it.
    • Rushly now speaks English, French, Spanish and Portuguese (profile menu).
    • After installing, Rushly opens by itself the first time you launch Premiere.
    • Audio and Zooms use credits (same rate as captions), and the cost is shown before you run. The plans are now called Rushly Plus and Rushly Max.
  6. v1.4.23

Tempo: the shadow stays under the text

On a 4K sequence (an iPhone clip, for example), the Tempo style's shadow landed far below the text. It now stays right under the words.

    • Captions: with the Tempo style, the shadow stays right under the text, whatever your sequence size (4K, 1440p…).
    • Nothing changes at 1080 × 1920 and below.
  7. v1.4.22

Safe zone: see what the app hides

A bar at the bottom of the panel shows the Instagram, TikTok or Shorts interface over your video, in the monitor.

    • Safe zone: pick Insta, TikTok or Shorts to see the username, caption and buttons over your video, with the area where your text stays visible.
    • Safe zone: Universal shows the area that stays visible on all 3 apps at once, and Ads shows the one for ads.
    • Click again to remove it. Remove it before exporting: it also goes away on its own when you close Rushly.
  8. v1.4.21

    Clearer sign-in, guided install

Rushly tells you what to do if sign-in fails, and the installer guides you all the way.

    • Sign-in: if it doesn't work, a message tells you what to do.
    • Sign-in: “Forgot password” is right under the field.
    • Install: at the end, the installer tells you to restart Premiere, then open Window › Extensions › Rushly.
  9. v1.4.20

    AI Cleanup on a voice-over

AI Cleanup also works on an audio-only take, with no video.

    • AI Cleanup: select your voice-over in the timeline, with no video, and run AI Cleanup.
  10. v1.4.19

Rushly always opens after an update

Rushly always opens after an interrupted automatic update.

    • Automatic update: if Premiere closes before it finishes, Rushly still opens the next time.
    • Required update, in one click.
  11. v1.4.18

A clip with no sound no longer blocks analysis

An image, a title or a silent shot in your edit no longer makes the analysis fail.

    • AI Cleanup and Smart Clips: an edit that contains a clip with no sound (image, title, silent shot) is analyzed normally.
    • If something fails, the message gives the real cause.
  12. v1.4.17

    AI Cleanup: fewer stray silences

A silence is kept only when it sits between two lines you keep.

    • AI Cleanup: no more silence left alone next to a cut sentence.
  13. v1.4.16

    Required update in one click

When an update is required, a screen in the middle of the panel offers it to you.

    • Required update: a screen in the middle of the panel, with a single button to update.
  14. v1.4.15

    New AI Cleanup review

The AI Cleanup review now scrolls, plays back with highlighting and supports undo. The tabs change order.

    • AI Cleanup: the review list scrolls; filters and buttons stay visible, even in a small panel.
    • AI Cleanup: play the review with ▶ or Space; the sentence and word being played are highlighted.
    • AI Cleanup: Undo and Redo buttons in the review.
    • Captions: clearer “Names and special words”, with brand examples.
    • Tabs in a new order: AI Cleanup, Captions, Multicam, Smart Clips.
  15. v1.4.14

Captions: gender agreement and inclusive writing

Your French captions agree with the gender of the person speaking, and switch to inclusive writing in one click.

    • Captions, Text tab, “Agreement” button: set each voice's gender (Auto, Female, Male) and Rushly makes the text agree.
    • Captions: French inclusive writing in one click.
    • Off by default, uses no credits.
  16. v1.4.13

    Rushly updates itself

No more clicking: new versions install on their own.

    • macOS: the new version installs without restarting Premiere, while you're not using it.
    • Windows: the new version installs when you close Premiere.
    • A notification tells you when Rushly is up to date, with what changed.
  17. v1.4.12

    More reliable audio upload

If your connection drops for a moment, Rushly retries on its own.

    • Audio upload (AI Cleanup, Smart Clips, Captions): after a brief network drop, Rushly automatically retries up to two times before showing an error.
  18. v1.4.11

    Free plan: one credit balance

Your free credits are now a single balance, to use on any feature.

    • Free plan: 300 credits, usable for AI Cleanup, Smart Clips or Captions. The badge shows a single number.
  19. v1.4.10

    Tempo: no more ghost outline

No more ghost copy or dark outline under Tempo captions.

    • Tempo captions: no more ghost outline under the text; each word's shadow follows its transparency.
    • AI Cleanup: safer repeat filter.
  20. v1.4.9

AI Cleanup: no more clipped word endings

In Normal and Aggressive mode, AI Cleanup never cuts inside a word anymore.

    • AI Cleanup: no more clipped word endings, in Normal and Aggressive mode.
    • AI Cleanup: no more fragment of a removed word heard between two shots.
  21. v1.4.8

    Captions in your sequence format

In 16:9, 4K, square or 4:5, the nested sequence and captions match your project size.

    • Captions: the nested sequence takes your sequence format (16:9, 4K, 1:1, 4:5) and captions are laid out inside it.
    • Captions: the highlighted word in Mot Ciel and Editorial Serif keeps the same size everywhere; only a word too long to fit is reduced.
    • AI Cleanup: an accurate edit even if the sequence shifts, and a tighter Aggressive mode.
  22. v1.4.7

Captions in 16:9 and 4K, constant size

Your captions land in the right place at the right size on every sequence, and no longer jump from one line to the next.

    • Captions: on a horizontal (16:9) or 4K sequence, they sit in the right place at the right size.
    • Captions: same size and position from one line to the next.
    • Captions: a word never appears cut in half anymore.
    • Captions: “Split before this word” works, including on a comma or a quote.
    • AI Cleanup: silences hidden inside stretched words are removed.
    • Premiere no longer freezes while reading your selection.
  23. v1.4.6

Captions: no more false “Open the sequence” warning

Rushly now brings your sequence to the front by itself before placing captions.

    • Captions: the “Open the sequence” message no longer shows when your sequence is already open.
  24. v1.4.5

AI Cleanup Normal or Aggressive, and captions restored

Choose how tight AI Cleanup cuts, and find your captions again after closing Premiere.

    • AI Cleanup: “Normal” stays as before, “Aggressive” cuts mid-sentence pauses even more.
    • Captions: reopen your project and they are still there. Edit them and place them again, with no duplicates.
    • Multicam usage tracking is now on, so we can help you better.
  25. v1.4.4

    Captions without punctuation

The “No punctuation” option keeps the sentence endings and removes the rest.

    • Captions: “No punctuation” removes commas, colons, dashes and quotation marks, and keeps . ! ? … as well as words and numbers like “l'IA”, “peut-être”, “2,5” and “14:30”.
    • Internal improvements.
  26. v1.4.3

    Internal improvements

Internal improvements, nothing changes in how you edit.

    • Anonymous tracking of plugin installs, so we can help you if something gets stuck.
  27. v1.4.2

    The right AI Cleanup rate

AI Cleanup shows your account's rate before you start.

    • AI Cleanup: the cost shown before you start follows your account's rate (1 or 2 credits per minute). The balance shown in the panel says so too.
  28. v1.4.1

Automatic fonts and Free plan credits

Caption fonts install on their own, and Free plan credits work everywhere.

    • Captions: template fonts install on their own when the panel starts. Premiere may ask you to restart once.
    • Free plan: your free credits show up and can be spent on AI Cleanup, Smart Clips and captions.
    • Out of credits? A clear screen tells you, and one button takes you to the plans.
  29. v1.4.0

Captions, and an even more precise AI Cleanup

Your captions placed right in your sequence, synced to the voice and editable in Premiere. AI Cleanup now cuts to the exact sound, and you watch it cut your timeline live.

    • Captions: pick a template from the gallery or build your own style (colors, shadow, outline, size, 1 or 2 lines), then place it in one click. Available on Plus and up.
    • AI Cleanup: cuts are aligned to the real audio, so fewer clipped words, “uhs” and breaths. The timeline is cut before your eyes, and the review is easier to read.
    • Smart Clips: footage under 8 minutes is flagged before you click.
  30. v1.3.7

Your J-cuts and L-cuts are respected

When a shot's audio overlaps the neighboring shot, AI Cleanup and Reels keep the right picture.

    • AI Cleanup and Smart Clips: on an edit where the audio starts before the picture (J-cut) or carries on after it (L-cut), Rushly no longer puts the wrong shot's picture back during the overlap. Picture and audio are exactly what's in your edit.
    • Multicam: when the podcast audio comes from the cameras (no separate mic), a camera's picture no longer covers your edit.
  31. v1.3.6

AI Cleanup drops its old “Rough Cut” name

The old name is gone from the panel and from your new sequences.

    • In the panel (in French for now): the tab, the button, the messages and the home screen use the French name of AI Cleanup, “Dérush”.
    • In your Premiere project: new sequence names start with “Dérush”, followed by your clip name. The end message shows “Séquence créée” followed by the sequence name.
    • Your older sequences whose names start with “Rough Cut” are still recognized by Rushly. Cuts and edit points don't change.
  32. v1.3.5

    Frame-accurate edit points

Between two shots placed by Rushly: no more one-frame gap, no extra frame, no shifted audio.

    • AI Cleanup: each shot is placed on whole frames of your sequence. No more one-frame gap between two shots, a frame that repeats at the edit point, or a shot that starts one frame too early.
    • Reels (Smart Clips): same rule, video and audio placed at the same spot, to the frame.
    • A shot's audio no longer drifts from its picture.
    • The cuts themselves don't change: only the edit points are cleaner.
  33. v1.3.4

    More reliable updates

Updates no longer start over from scratch.

    • If your connection drops or slows down while an update is downloading, Rushly picks up where it stopped. The file is still checked before installation.
  34. v1.3.3

You see your video before you run it

Rushly shows you the video it's about to analyze before you run it, and follows your Premiere selection live.

    • A “your video” card above the button, in AI Cleanup and Smart Clips: the name and length of the selected video, and where it comes from (timeline or Project panel).
    • It follows your selection live: click a clip in your timeline and the card updates by itself.
    • Nothing selected? The button waits and the card shows you what to do. If your selection can't be used (nested sequence, audio only…), it tells you why, in the same place.
    • If the update can't be done inside the plugin, Rushly opens the install page instead of a technical file.
  35. v1.3.2

Clearer selection, launch from the Project panel

Rushly tells you exactly why a selection doesn't work, and you can launch AI Cleanup or Smart Clips from a clip in the Project panel.

    • A clip selected in the Project panel is now picked up: select the video file and run AI Cleanup or Smart Clips.
    • A precise message when the selection doesn't work: nested sequence, multicam clip, audio only, title or adjustment layer, a Rushly-created sequence open with nothing selected, no sequence open. Each time, Rushly tells you what to do.
    • No more false “didn't complete” message when you click with nothing selected: you simply get help selecting your video.
  36. v1.3.1

    Multicam: you say who's who

You tell Rushly who is on each camera and each mic, and you save your show so you only do it once.

    • The assignment screen starts blank: one row per audio track with sound, and you type the person's name (“Host”, “Guest”…).
    • For each camera, you choose “Who's in the frame?”: one person, “Wide shot (everyone)” or “Ignore this track”.
    • Stereo mic (one mic per channel): Rushly asks you instead of splitting left and right by default.
    • “Save this show”: next time, one click in “My shows” brings back the names, cameras and pace.
  37. v1.3.0

Multicam: your podcast edited in seconds

A new Multicam tab, running on your computer, without uploading your files and without using any credits. Plus several improvements to AI Cleanup and Smart Clips.

    • Multicam: place your cameras and mics in a sequence, synced to each other (one camera per video track, ideally one mic per person), then click “Analyze the sequence”.
    • You see the cutting plan before anything is created, and you set the pace (Calm, Balanced or Dynamic) and how often wide shots appear. Rushly creates a new sequence: your original sequence is never modified.
    • A real progress bar on AI Cleanup and Smart Clips: each step is named, with an estimate of the time left.
    • The cost is shown before you launch (“≈ N credits for mm:ss”). If your balance isn't enough, the button tells you before you click.
    • Your credit balance updates by itself: after a purchase, and after a failure (when the credits are returned to you).
    • You can cancel Smart Clips mid-run, and you won't be charged twice if you run it again.
    • Smart Clips works on a clip selected in the Project panel.
    • A sequence built from several clips is analyzed in full, not just the first file.
    • The final edit is faster on long sequences, with an identical result.
    • On failure, the message shows a short code and a “Copy diagnostics” button.
  38. v1.2.2

The panel talks like an editor

Same features, same results, but the interface no longer talks to you like a developer.

    • Raw counters and technical jargon are gone from the panel: Rushly simply says which video is selected.
    • The price is shown before you click: AI Cleanup shows 1 credit per minute of video analyzed, just as Smart Clips shows 3 credits per minute.
    • The “Find more Reels” button shows the real rate: 3 credits per minute.
    • Labels now use plain editing words: “Keep” and “Cut”, “to review”. When processing ends, the panel tells you where to find your sequence in the Project panel.
  39. v1.2.1

Long videos go all the way

A two-hour podcast now gets analyzed without stopping midway.

    • No more “Timeout” abort on long footage: past roughly 40 minutes, AI Cleanup and Smart Clips could stop on a failure even though the analysis was going to finish. The plugin now waits up to 14 minutes for an analysis response, instead of 5.
  40. v1.2.0

Smart Clips no longer leaves you in the dark

When no Reel comes out, you know why, and you no longer pay to find out.

    • A clip that's too short (under about 25 seconds) is rejected right away, free of charge: there isn't enough material to make a Reel.
    • “Find more Reels” no longer runs dry on its own: Rushly only sets aside the segments that were actually edited.
    • When there's truly nothing, the screen tells you which case you're in: clip too short, material already used, or no moment strong enough.
    • “My credits” opens your billing area: payment method, invoices, plan change, cancellation.
    • The old Multi-Cam tab is gone. It wasn't good enough; a new, rebuilt Multicam arrives with 1.3.0.
