Instagram data deletion instructions

IRYS (SAS (simplified joint-stock company, société par actions simplifiée)), the company behind Rushly, operates a Meta app called “Rushly Comment Flow”, connected through the official Instagram API to the professional Instagram accounts managed by IRYS, including the Rushly account. It automatically replies to people who comment on our posts with a keyword (public reply, then a private message with the resource they asked for). This page explains how to have your data deleted. What data we may hold about you

• your app-scoped Instagram ID and your public Instagram username;
• the text and ID of your comment, and the ID of the post concerned;
• the messages exchanged between you and our accounts, with date and status;
• clicks on the tracked link we sent you (date and link token only).

We never collect your Instagram password, your followings, or any non-public profile data.

How to request deletion

Option 1: by email (works for everyone). Send an email to hello@rushly-ai.app with the subject “Instagram data deletion” and your Instagram username (for example @yourname). We may ask you to confirm that the account is yours, for example by sending us a message from it.

Option 2: from Instagram / Facebook. If you connected your Instagram account to our app, go to Instagram → Settings → Apps and websites (or Facebook → Settings → Apps and Websites), select “Rushly Comment Flow”, remove it and choose to request the deletion of your data. Meta then notifies us of your request automatically, and we delete the data linked to your app-scoped ID. You receive a confirmation code and a link showing the status of the request.

What happens next

• We delete the data listed above within 30 days at the latest (usually much faster), and we confirm by email once it is done.
• Deleting your comment on Instagram does not delete our copy of it: please send us a request using one of the options above.
• If you replied “STOP” to our messages, we keep only your identifier so that we respect your refusal and never message you again. You can ask us to remove it too, at the cost of possibly being messaged again if you comment again.
• We may keep strictly what the law requires us to keep (for example accounting records). If we cannot delete something, we tell you why in our answer.
